Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association - The Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association (SCAA) is an organization singularly focused on sudden cardiac arrest. SCAA identifies and unites survivors, those at risk of sudden cardiac arrest, as well as others who are interested in being advocates on SCAA issues in their communities and beyond. Their membership is dedicated to promoting solutions to prevent sudden cardiac death, including increased awareness, immediate bystander action, public access to defibrillation (PAD) and access to therapies (principally ICDS--implantable cardiac defibrillators).

Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation - The SCA Foundation is a nonprofit organization that has been established to help increase awareness about Sudden Cardiac Arrest as a public health crisis and reduce death and disability from SCA, through their website and other initiatives.

National AED Registry - The National AED Registry is a free service. Organizations and individuals can register their AEDs and receive
  • AED Inspection email reminders
  • AED battery date expiration email reminders
  • AED electrode date expiration email reminders
  • Ability to participate in the AED Link™ system, where available

AED Link™ - Does your community’s 9-1-1 dispatcher’s know where the AEDs are so they can help a first responder access one and save a life?

The AED Link™ system is an innovative, end-to-end solution that helps 9-1-1 dispatch agencies substantially and cost-effectively increase the benefits of publicly placed automated external defibrillators (AEDs) deployed in the community.

The AED Link system™ offers mission-critical AED location data to 9-1-1 dispatchers via a regularly updated geographic information system (GIS) map layer. This map layer enables dispatchers to know the whereabouts of nearby registered AEDs so they can help those on-scene get these lifesaving devices to sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) victims faster, thereby increasing the chances that lives will be saved.

To find out more about how your community can get the AED Link™ system, send an email to Atrus, Inc.
